Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is exactly as it sounds, yoga in your chair! Sitting at a desk for long periods produces poor movement patterns which can affect posture and cause muscle strain and fatigue. Chair yoga classes are specifically adapted and tailored to suit the needs of participants in the corporate workplace.  

 

One of the great things about chair yoga is that participants don't need to change out of their work attire, unless they want to. Functional movement in the chair focuses on stretching and strengthening areas of tension, (shoulders, neck, back, hamstrings, wrists).

 

Our initial meeting provides an opportunity to discuss and identify the needs of your employees and the desired outcomes. From there we will make some suggestions and propose a schedule.  

 

Zoom classes also available. Max 10 participants per class

 

60 minutes for - $180 per group

30 minutes - $130 per group

Mat Yoga Classes

Mat classes are similar to a yoga class at a studio, except more personalised. Our classes are for all levels and suitable for everyone, including beginners. We use mats and props in these classes.

Many people worry that they’re not flexible enough to do yoga however, our classes focus on strength and mobility which is completely different from flexibility. So don’t worry! If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to address them with us.

 

• We offer general yoga, where participants are able to learn the foundations of a safe and healthy yoga practice. Suitable for all levels.  

 

• We also offer a strong yoga class, where participants will stretch and sweat, and get the same benefits as they would from doing a full-body workout!


60 minutes - $180 per class per group

30 minutes - $130 per class per group

Props may incur an extra cost.

Lunch and Learn - Seminars

Lunch and Learn wellness seminars are perfect for companies wanting to give their staff a boost in morale or host a special event. Some organisations host seminars a few times a year.

Our programs are designed to teach practical, hands-on skills so employees can implement these tools into their workday. Depending on the space available, seminars can be run at the desk, or a boardroom, lunchroom, spare office, A/V room.

 

Here are some topics our seminars cover:

• Introduction to Yoga

• The benefits of moving well.

• Ways to prevent and relieve symptoms of workplace health issues, eg: neck and back pain, and tightness in the hamstrings.

• Creating a simple yoga practise that can be done at home.

 

60 minutes - $200 per group

90 minutes $280 per group
